Day 1

Our first "assignment" was to create something that was small enough to fit in the palm of our hand.  We could only use the supplies in the area we were working in, luckily for us we were in the kitchen so that we could work at the table.

Ben decided to "Recycle/Reuse" and created his kitty out of a Cheerios box and box from a soccer ball.  Makes for one crazy kitty!!

Zack went for the marshmallow turtle.  As soon as the pictures were taken....R.I.P. Little Dude!

Not the best picture,  but I went for Easter cupcakes *He, hee*
Ben proceeded to use him as the marshmallow for a S'more.  Peeps explode nicely in the toaster over....an extra dose of fun for the day!!!

Ways I had fun today??  My children can always name me ways that they had fun, but between soccer, soccer, basketball, karate, homework, cleaning the house, doing laundry, chasing after animals I seem to have lost ways to have fun.  The boys and I have been watching our friend Fitz on her journey of 365 snails and we decided that we decided that we should begin a journey together too.

Our journey is going to begin small...the whole goal is to have fun together (and spend just a few minutes with my boys) and use art to explore things we love. Ben has taken the challenge of studying cats in honor of his big, lazy, monster Ziggy.  Zack wants to create turtles galore. And I shall create 365 cupcakes.  I would have done cakes, but I don't think I could eat that many!!
